New Promoter At Fayette County Speedway For 2007!
From the Fayette County Fair Association,
BROWNSTOWN, IL (Jan. 22, 2007) The Fayette County Fair Association is pleased to
announce that a new promoter for the Fayette County Speedway has been contracted
for the 2007 Fayette County Speedway racing season following a three month
search.
Sean Franklin of Pinckneyville, IL, and the Fayette County Fair Board have reached an agreement that Franklin will operate the Fayette County Speedway for the 2007 season. Sean Franklin is the "Series Director" for the "Crate American Racing Series" and has been involved in area racing for several years. The Fayette County Fair Association is pleased that all local drivers will have an opportunity to continue participating at the Fayette County Speedway as it has been a local tradition for years.
There have been many calls concerning the fate of racing in Fayette County
during the past couple of months. Any parties interested and needing further
information, can now contact the new Fayette County Speedway promoter to have
questions answered regarding the 2007 season.
The Fayette County Fair Association, along with Sean Franklin encourages all
race fans to come out to the Speedway for new, exciting racing action during the
2007 season! "
