5th Annual MIDWEST SPEED EXPO by DHL Freight and GOTTA RACE Announces Spotlight on “The Ladies of Racing“, Vendor Booths almost sold out! SPRINGFIELD, ILL (Dec 21) - The 5th Annual MIDWEST SPEED EXPO Racers Trade Show and Swap Meet to be held on January 12-13, 2008 in Springfield, Illinois at the ORR Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds is rapidly approaching a sold out vendor status. With less than a dozen booth spaces remaining the show is sure to once again be a sold out event! This year, the spotlight will be on the “Ladies of Racing”. Several prominent ladies of racing will be on hand to meet and greet visitors to the show at various hours of the show weekend. Among the exciting attractions at this years event will be the guest appearance of 15 year old Miranda Throckmorton, believed to be the FIRST EVER female to win a 410 Non-Winged Sprint Car feature event with her win on May 19th at the Paragon Speedway in Paragon, Indiana. Visitors to the show are invited to meet and greet one of the most promising future stars of the sport and get an up close look at her high horsepower mount that she will campaign with the Midwest All Star Sprint Car Series in 2008!
