Kyle Logue once again pulled out the feature win in the Chevrolet Late Models MACON, IL (May 23) - Kyle Logue once again pulled out the feature win in the Chevrolet Late Models division at Macon Speedway as he had to come from behind to get past Jayme Zidar. Looking loose early in the race, Zidar ran high and Logue down low which gave Zidar a sizeable lead until Logue went high and ended up catching the Wisconsin native. By lap 14, Logue had once again regained the lead and he wouldn’t let it up. “The high side was really good tonight,” said Logue after his fourth feature win of the year. The Modifieds ran for a $750 first place prize and Decatur’s Dave Crawley, Jr. also used the high side of the track to claim the victory and increased payout. Crawley ran with long-time friend Steve Ewing but Ewing spun out which gave Crawley the lead which he would not relinquish. Best Fan In The Stand, driver Steve Phillips and Fan Sheryl Eckel. In the Sportsman division, Taylorville’s Scott Landers had his second feature win in a row as he battled off Jeff Graham and Mike Pickering. Tyler Blankenship won his fourth Street Stock feature, leading wire-to-wire. Jeff Dodd won the Pro Hornet feature and his son Zach Dodd won again in the Amateur Hornet Feature.
