Miles Chevrolet Night at Macon Speedway MACON, IL (June 21) - It was Miles Chevrolet Night at Macon Speedway Saturday Night. Along with a full show of Late Models, Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks and Hornets, Macon Speedway ran Box Car Race for the Macon Speedway Kids Club. Kyle Logue won the Chevrolet Late Model feature on the bumper of Mike Hammerle. Logue was running the high line and ran into lapped traffic. Cory Daugherty and Dick Taylor found themselves back in contention on the final lap. But with two lapped cars in the mix, Logue finished the race following the lapped car of Hammerle and Daugherty barely beat out Taylor. Dave Crawley moved to the outside to pass for the lead win the BARBECK Communications Modified feature. Crawley started in eighth and passed six cars on the bottom of the track. Brad Crosby led all the way to lap 20, hugging the inside of every turn. With five laps to go, Crawley took his chances on the high line and found the speed to make the pass. Best fan in the stand Driver- Marty Hiser and Best fan- Don Manning. Jeff Graham led from wire-to-wire to win his second Hogan Grain/KUBOTA Sportsman feature. Second place finisher Kerby Damery was working on the pass all race but multiple cautions held him back. Blake Shelley pulled his first win of the season in the Street Stock
feature. But the real racing action was for second place. Tyler Blankenship,
Al Crawley and Brian Cassell all finished door-to-door on the last lap.
