THIS WEEK AT MACON SPEEDWAY-HORNET WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

MACON, IL (Sept 9) - Join us this Saturday night as Macon Speedway hosts four UMP divisions one final time in 2008; Barbeck Communications Modifieds, Hogan Grain/Kubota Sportsman, Street Stocks and Pro & Amateur Hornets. The UMP Hornets will have a special race which will include $500 dollars going to the Hornet who can take the checkered flag. Come out and see if point’s leader Bruce Dulgar can take home the feature win and claim the $500 first place prize.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Macon Speedway will take Saturday, September 20 off from racing to prepare for the POWRi Midgets and Micros to come to town for the final regular Saturday night race of 2008. Racing along with POWRi will be the UMP Modified, Street Stocks and Hornet divisions. Macon Speedway is still concentrating on finding a night to reschedule the previously rained out Night of Nascar Stars featuring Tony Stewart. Information will be posted on the website at www.maconracing as soon as a decision has been made.
