MOM’S REIGN SUPREME AT MACON SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!
MACON, IL (May 6) - Bring your Mom this Saturday Night for our annual
Mother Dear night to honor all mothers at the track. There will be a special
mother’s only drawing for door prizes and mothers will receive an extra
surprise when they come in the gate on Saturday night. Also, scheduled for
the night we will have the Crazy Chicks N Cars for the 1st time this season.
Come and check out the Crazy Chicks battling it out to see who will reign
supreme. Macon Speedway is proud to be hosting a second modified division
feature, plus it will be the first night of the Midwest Big Ten Series
races. Also for the Modified division, Saturday night will be the second
night of the Modified Spring Series.
Macon Speedway will also host its second Macon Speedway driver autograph
session for 2009, so bring your pens and your favorite items to be
autographed to Macon Speedway’s pavilion and meet our local dirt track
heroes. Don’t forget you have a chance to be the Best Fan in the Stands each
night the UMP Modified division races!
Macon Speedway is excited to announce we are bringing back the Midwest Big
Ten Series to thank our loyal Late Model drivers. Morgan County Speedway,
Jacksonville, IL, and the newly opened Shepps Speedway, Alexander, IL has
teamed up with Macon Speedway for our newest promotion. The three tracks
will host a series of races to be held in the 2009 racing season, the dates
of the five races to be held at Macon Speedway are May 9, June 6, July 4,
July 25 and August 22. Morgan County Speedway will host two races, one on
May 8 and the other TBA. Shepps Speedway will host their events in the
series on June 7, July 26 and then again to round out the series on Aug 23.
At the end of the season the points each driver has accumulated in those 10
races will be totaled and there will be $10,000 distributed throughout the
top ten Late Models with the top point fund winner taking home another
$3,000!
Macon Speedway is also partnering with Morgan County Speedway and Shepps
Speedway to bring you the Modified Spring Series. The series will be held
May 8 at Morgan County Speedway, then May 9 at Macon Speedway. Shepps
Speedway will finish the 3 day series on May 10. UMP Modifieds will earn UMP
National Points as well as track points and the Spring Series points which
will result in a series point fund of $600. Each Night will boast a $600
prize to the top UMP Modified.
Next week Macon Speedway will be having Flag Night plus our full exciting
weekly racing featuring all five UMP divisions plus a double UMP Touchstone
Energy Sportsman feature.
Macon Speedway races every Saturday night from April through September.
