UMP SUMMERNATIONALS AND NASCAR NIGHT SET FOR LASALLE SPEEDWAY

LA SALLE, IL (July 7) - The LaSalle Speedway located in LaSalle, IL is proud
to announce that Thursday July 9 the UMP Summernationals will make a stop at
the LaSalle Speedway along with NASCAR Stars Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace.
The $6,000 to win 40 lap Super Late Model feature event will feature local
drivers taking on the best touring drivers. The yearly series runs over a 30
day period and pays over three-quarters of a million dollars in prize money.
Track Enterprises and the LaSalle Speedway will bring the cars and stars of
the UMP Super Late Model tour into LaSalle’s ¼ mile high banked oval.
The UMP Summernationals tour has quickly become one of the most anticipated
dirt Late Model tours in the Nation. Many of the top stars will be racing
Thursday night as they attempt to make as many events as possible on this
year’s tour. Some of the top local drivers like Mike Marlar, Don O’Neal,
Dennis Erb Jr., Randy Korte, and Eddie Kirchoff of Wyoming will be joining
the touring drivers in what is expected to be one of the most competitive
and largest car counts of Late Models to date at the LaSalle Speedway.
Along with a 40 lap Late Model feature, racing will also include the always
thrilling UMP Open Wheel Modifieds.
The pit gates will open at 4:00 P.M. with Grandstands opening at 5 P.M.
Qualifications will begin at 6:30 P.M. with racing scheduled to begin at
7:30 P.M. Tickets will be $20.00 for adults; children 11-6 for $5.00; and
