MACON, IL (March 27, 2012) - Macon Speedway drivers will have one final opportunity to prepare their freshly built cars for the 2012 racing season during the second and last Test N Tune day scheduled for Sunday, April 1 from 12 to 4 PM. Fans are welcome to view practice and get a glimpse of the new cars. Admission to the grandstands will be free for the practice days so bring the family, come watch your favorite drivers, grab a hot dog and get ready for the action packed season at Macon Speedway. The Fifth Annual Spring Fling season opener is scheduled for April 7 and
will officially kick off an exciting season of racing at Macon Speedway,
featuring UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Sportsman, UMP Street Stocks,
UMP Pro Hornets and Amateur Hornets. The 2012 schedule showcases a variety
of traditional fan favorite special events plus two Nights of NASCAR stars
when NASCAR drivers are available for autographs and will even compete with
the local favorites. Macon Speedway will also host the POWRi Midgets and Micros several times this year at Macon Speedway with the first date for the open wheelers set for April 28th. Macon Speedway would like to announce that the Kids Club will have new and exciting things going on this year in 2012, details coming soon! Fans won’t want to miss any of the 30 nights of action at Macon Speedway of racing a full summer of hot weekly racing action every Saturday night combined with an exciting mix of special events. Macon Speedway will run regular weekly racing through the end of September, so bring your family and friends out to the track and experience the hottest ticket in town.
