July 19 Indee Open rained out

INDEPENDENCE, IA (July 19, 2006) - The Indee Open Series event scheduled for
July 19 at Independence Motor Speedway has been postponed due to rain. The
event, originally scheduled to kick off the 2006 Buchanan County Fair, will be
made up on a date to be announced later.
The next stop on the eight-race tour will be next Tuesday, July 25, at Fayette
County Raceway in West Union, followed by its second visit of the season to
Highway 3 Raceway in Allison on Tuesday, August 1.
Next up on the schedule at Independence is the annual demolition derby this
Friday night, July 21, during the Buchanan County Fair. Pit gates will open at 3
p.m. with action scheduled to start at 7. Saturday, July 22, weekly racing
action will resume during the fair. Gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps scheduled
for 6 and the first green flag set to wave at 6:30.
