Indee Outlaw Special to close out season on October 7 at
Independence Motor Speedway

INDEPENDENCE, IA (Sept. 24, 2006) - For the third consecutive season, the Indee
Outlaw Special will serve as the season finale at Independence Motor Speedway.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 7, will feature no rules other than
those enforced for driver safety.
Previous Outlaw events have featured cars with sprint car wings, fiberglass
wings and other aerodynamic enhancements providing increased speed and
excitement for fans.
Late models, modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks and B modifeds are scheduled to
compete, along with vintage cars. The late model division will pay $2,000-to-win
while the modified victor will receive $700 and the stock cars pay $400-to-win.
Hobby stocks and B mods will compete for $250-to-win.
Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $8 for students 12-17,
$2 for children 5-11. Kids under five will be admitted free with a paid adult.
Pit passes are $25.
Gates for the season-ending event will open at 3 p.m. with hot laps scheduled
for 5 and the first race set to go green at 5:30.
Should the event fall to inclement weather, Saturday, October 14, will serve as
the make-up date.
