Mid American Dirt track Figure Eight Auto Racing Series to Begin BROOKLYN, IA (May 7) - The national dirt track figure eight rules and sanctioning body, FEAR, LLC, is proud to announce the beginning of a new era in auto racing. Beginning May 10 in Brooklyn, IA the MADFEAR Series will begin. Dirt track figure eight auto racers will compete throughout the summer in six states for the opportunity to become MADFEARS 2008 Champions. The top 5 point earners in each of 3 car classes, Stock, Pro Stock and Open, from each of our 5 regions, will meet in September at the I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO for the chance to become class champion. Drivers from Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska will accumulate points as they race throughout the summer towards the MADFEARS championship. Forty-four races will take place in these states with twenty of them to be broadcast live across the Internet by BringingItLive.com. Dirt track figure eight racing is unique in the sport of auto racing. Once thought of as only a demolition derby, this type of racing has grown to demand driving skill and courage if one is to become a champion. Some of the participating tracks in MADFEARS 2008 are the following: I-70 Speedway - Odessa, MO Brooklyn Raceway - Brooklyn, IA Macomb Raceway - Macomb, IL 77 Speedway - Newkirk, OK and others in Nebraska and Kansas Rarely can you experience the absolute thrills and excitements provided in dirt track figure eight auto racing.
