The rain out means the next event will be the 2009 Season Championships, Friday, August 28th. At the Season Championships, much of the attention will be focused on three classes. In the Track Tamer Engines IMCA Late Models, Ray Guss Jr., holds a commanding lead in track points, but is tight battle for IMCA National points. Kevin ‘the Wildman’ Blum is leading the national points standings, but is third in track=2 0points. Davenport’s Matt Ryan is second in track points. Three past track champions are locked in a tight battle for the Pro Mod track championship. Thad Wilson is in the points lead, just six points ahead of John Bull. Bob Dominacki is right behind, third in the point standings, just seven points behind Wilson. The story is much the same for the Street Stock title, as three drivers are racing for the champioship. Point leader, Andrew Burk, holds a precarious three point lead over Joe Beal and five markers over Jeremy Marquette.
