IMCA Super Nationals Webcast on RaceCastLive.com
By: Jeff Werderman

BOONE, IA (Sept 2) - Racing fans not able to make the trip to Boone, Iowa, for this year's running of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals will be able to click on www.RaceCastLive.com. RaceCastLive.com is an Internet radio site and will carry the racing action on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, through Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009.

Bucky Doren and Chris Marchese will call all the action live from the Next Generation Wireless Clubhouse. Next Generation Wireless (www.ngwtoday.net) is an official U.S. Cellular agent. Each night's webcast will begin at 6 p.m. CDT and end about 11.m. CDT. This radio webcast will be offered free to racing fans all four nights.

"We'll also have the low-watt FM transmitter fired up all six nights at this year's Super Nationals," explains Bucky Doren, the chairman who has put this free Internet radio webcast together the last four years.

"Each year this thing gets bigger and better," he adds. "This year, our fifth year, should be no exception. The addition of the FM transmitter a couple of years was a big hit with all the race teams (at their trailers) and those camping or, as we've come to call it, Trailer City."

"We've had a lot of fun talking to Trailer City after the webcast is over," adds Marchese. "One thing we have started to notice is that fans are starting to bring small portable radios with them to the stands and the catwalks so they can hear what's going on when the cars are racing wide open."

Anyone interested in learning the frequency used at the track can find it at the Aero Race Wheels booth on IMCA's Manufacturer's Row. While there, folks can take advantage of Aero Race Wheels' once a year Driver Appreciation Sale.

"More than 800 drivers from all across the country are expected to compete in the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals," says Doren. "We understand there are a lot of fans who want to follow their favorite driver but can't make it to the track. The web cast is a way for those who can't travel to Boone, Iowa, to stay up to date. It doesn't replace being there, but it's the next best thing."

Here's the lineup: On Wednesday night, Sept. 9, it's the last night for the Stock Cars to race their way into Saturday's main event. And the Modifeids begin their quest to make Saturday's Super Nationals A-Main.

On Thursday night, Sept. 10, it's a busy night on the track. It's Day 2 for the Modifieds, and the Sport-Mods begin their bid for a Super Nationals Championship. Race of Champions Qualifying for both the Modifieds and the Sport-Mods is also scheduled.

On Friday, Sept. 11, it's the last night for the Sport-Mods to make Saturday's Big Dance. It's also the last chance for the Modifieds to qualify on the front row. The featured event is the Fast-Shafts All Star Invitational.

Saturday night, Sept. 12, is IMCA Super Nationals championship nite. Champions are crowned in the Sport-Mods, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars and the headliner class, the Modifieds. It's the biggest night of the four-day webcast.
