MARION, IOWA (May 23, 2010) - John Hall and his Left Turn Enterprises racing team made their first A-main of the 2010 season at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, May 23. The night started off on a good note, with Hall posting a qualifying time of 16.565 seconds, good for 13^th of the night's 29 competitors in the 360 division. That put the No. 7H outside the front row to start his heat race. He followed the polesitter throughout the seven-lap distance to finish second on what was still a somewhat narrow track. That finish meant Hall could go right to the night's A-main without having to transfer through the B. He started 10^th in the main, but adjustments the team made to the car were not quite right and Hall was unable to complete the 15-lap distance. He called it a night at lap four with a 19th-place finish. However, the team was able to celebrate another week of improvement. They will have choices to make in the upcoming holiday weekend. The Sprint Invaders Association will have shows on Friday, May 28, at CJ Raceway in Columbus Junction, Iowa, and on Saturday, May 29, at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. Knoxville Raceway's Championship Cup Series will also be in action again on Saturday, May 29. Plans for the Left Turn Enterprises team are still undecided. Car owners are Charles and Doris Hall. Crew members are Darrell Bonesteel, Steve Lindell, Cass Page and Cole Page. Sponsors include APC Emmert Metal Fabricators, Thompson Aero Service, Marion Dairy Queen, Brake Man Brake Systems, Chalk Stix Torsion Bars, Team Enterprises, Parker Engines and Butler Built Seat Systems. The team continues to actively seek funding for its 2010 efforts. New sponsorship at all levels is welcome for the season, partial season or even a one-race opportunity. John Hall Racing now has T-shirts available for purchase, as well. The team's website at www.johnhallracing.com contains more information. And a “John Hall Racing #7H” fan page has been created for those on Facebook and provides updates on race nights.
