TIPTON, IOWA (May 25) - For awhile here tuesday evening the way the late afternoon showers and storms progressed through cedar county made you wonder if there would be racing. The skies cleared the weather moved on and the racing action was fast and furious by the drivers in the Corn Belt Clash late model division. 27 late models made there way to the Cedar County Raceway for stop number three of the Corn Belt Clash, and just like the other two Chad Simpson seems to have a lock earl on in this division. Simpson who finished third in his qualifying heat drew the outside of the front row starting spot for the thirty five lapper. Once the waving green approached the 2009 Corn Belt Champion set sail as he moved into the lead early on. Like a fine wine Simpson moved through lap traffic flawlessly picking off lapped cars one by one mid way. Simpson continued his masterful work upfront motoring on for the win his third in the series for the year.
