WEST LIBERTY (July 17) - Earlier in the evening Ryan Dolan won the fast dash allowing him to start on the pole for the thirty lap Gustaf Engine & Machine thirty lap open wheel modified feature paying $1,000 to win. The thirty lapper went non stop and for Dolanhe is a driver on a mission as he and car owner Terry Jamison have the race car working to perfection as Dolan has won the last five features he has entered and his win streak now stands at nine for the season for the second generation driver and the son of hall of famer Roger Dolan.The twenty five year racing veteran was followed across the line by Todd Hansen who finished a strong second coming from the fourth slot,Scott Dickey another second generation driver whose father Dan raced late models for many seasons started second and finished third,Brad Dierks who finished fourth after starting fifteenth.Dierks also received a $100 hard charger award from Eric Freeze for passing the most cars during the thirty lapper. Colt Mather a regular on the USMTS circuit and weekly racer at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, on Wednesday nights started seventh and finished fifth his first trip here. Earlier in the week Matt Greiner notched stock car feature win number eight. Saturday nights fifteen lap Kile Motorsports feature win number nine went right down to the wire.Greiner lead laps one through five,with Greg Gill giving him all he could handle.Gill lead laps six through eight..Greiner amerged ahead on lap nine for good but Gill was right breathing down his tail pipes.Greiner won but Gill was a real close second,Scotty Pratt was back after being out a cople of weeks finishing third,Justin Speers fourth,with David Brandies fifth. Second year driver and 2009 track point champion in the Spenler Tire B-Mod division Jason Speers looks to finally have his machine in order as he moved ahead of Jarett Franzen for the lead on lap eleven and lead the remaining four laps to win his second feature win of the seasonJeff Nantz lead the first lap,with Zack Less grabbing the lead on lap two.Less lead through lap six when he tried to go underneath a car to pass,got to low and landed on top of a mine tire thus relinquishing the lead.After a double front row restart Jarett Franzen took the lead for four laps before Speers took over on lap twelve then went on for the ensuing win.Twelve year old Tanner Allen fought off an earlier issue with a flat tire and gear box problems on lap one cmae back to run second quite feat for this youngster. Scott VanBusKirk finished third,Robbie Rock fourth,with Jeff Nantz fifth. Finally got the feature wins right for this young man whose made a nice living in victory lane this season. Jeff Miller lead laps one and two but Sean Slaughter lead the remaining eight in notching his sixth US6 Body Works farley flers feature win here at the speedway. Tyler Kelly was second,Jeff Miller third,Rob Axsom fourth,with James Roose fifth.
