No Races at Davenport Speedway This Friday
DAVENPORT, Ia. (July 28, 2010) – Conflicts with the set-up schedule for the
Great Mississippi Valley Fair has forced this Friday’s racing program at the
Davenport Speedway, to be cancelled. DRT TRAK Racing Inc., regrets any
inconvenience caused by this action.
The racing action will return to the quarter-mile dirt oval on Friday,
August 13th. That evening will be Kile Motorsports’ Kids Night, starring
Crumbo the Clown, and featuring bike races. Kids 12 and under admitted free
with paid adult.
After eight races this season, the 2010 point leaders at the Davenport
Speedway are:

Pit gates at Davenport open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5pm. Hot
laps are at 6pm and racing starts at 6:30pm.
The Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, on
West Locust Street, in Davenport.
