Race car builder Tony VonDresky found the low groove to his liking as he lead the final two laps to win the twenty la a-modified feature for his second win of the season marred by a horendous crash.Ryan DeShaw lead through lap two when Ron Barker grabbed the lead and lead through lap five.DeShaw lead one more lap before Barker regrabbed the top spot on lap seven.Lap twelve saw a lapped car of Gary Kreuger and Matt Christ collide with Christ going upside down and both cars being towed off ith two wreckers.Thanks for the safety of these race cars today as it was a wicked wreck and both drivers were unhurt.Once racing was underway,Ron Barker regained the lead on top with VonDresky working the bottom.The two kept working their respective lanes with VonDresky edging aheadon lap eighteen and on for the win.Timmy Current came from a first lap pit stop from the rear of the pack and he's done this a couple of times this year to run second,Ron Barker third,Ryan DeShaw fourth,with Jason Scheuller fifth. Only one caution in the exciting twelve lap stock car feature and Jerry Miles added another win to his resume this season winning leading from the seventh lap on.Kevin Brame was the only other leader and lead the first six laps,but once Miles got cookin on the top side he was tough to beat.Wayne Hors finished second,Kevin Brame third,Terry Rittmer fourth,with Cary Brown fifth. Matt Gansen who missed several weeks of the season due to car repairs survied a caution filled b-modified feature event for his first win of the 2010 season here at the speedway.Dustin Wilwert who brought out a caution leading on lap two came from siteen back to run second,Andrew Burke was third,B'J.Schmitt fourth,with Jed Freiburger fifth. The Limited Stock division saw several new drivers tonight.Larry Schultz passed Quinton Miller on lap six to win his second feature of the season.Jeremy Campbell placed second,Troy Baurer third,Quinton Miller fourth with Tim Schneider fifth. Jeremy Campbell won the ten lap flyer feature leading from flag to
flag.John flury finished second,Billy Veach third Jacob Ellithorpe
fourth,with Tyler Kelly fifth.A grand total of 115 race cars and a huge
crowd packed the stands and the pits on a beautiful night for racing at the
2010 dubuque county fair.
