DUBUQUE, IOWA (August 15, 2010) - For IMCA late model driver Terry Neal he is getting hot at the right time.Fresh off a win at the Jackson County Raceway in Maquoketa, Iowa, on Saturday night, Neal followed that up with two more here at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway Sunday evening giviung him a grand toal of twelve for the year. The rained out makeup feature from july 4th Neal grabbed the lead from Brian Meiners on the third lap and never looked back as twenty seven late models signed in to race the twin bill event.Jim Brokus placed second,Jeremiah Hurst was third,Luke Goedert fourth,with Dan Shelliam rounding out the top five. Terry Neal then came back later on in the evening to take the lead from Luke Pestka on the third lap of the second IMCA late model feature and lead the remaining twenty two laps for his second victory of the night. Jeremiah Hurst was second, Joel Callahan third, Jason Rauen coming from twenty fifth in the starting grid in on Merfelds race car finished fourth with Liuke Goedert fifth after an early caution. The Flyer division enjoyed double features as well.In the makeup from july 4th Jeremy Campbell took the lead on lap three and went on to win the ten lap event.John Flury was second,Andrew Betts third,Pat Quinn fourth,with Billy Veatch fifth. In the regular feature John Flury won the ten lap event finishing ahead of andrew Betts,Billy Veatch,Derek McBee,and Brannon Beschen. In the open wheel modified division veteran Ronnie Barker grabbed the lead from Ken Kostenbader on lap three and lead the remaining seventeen laps for his seventh feature win of the season.The Dubuque driver was followed across the line by Tony VonDresky in second,Jason Schueller third, Mike Weideman fourth with Ryan DeShaw fifth The stock car feature went flag to flag without a restart and 2009 track champion Terry Rittmer grabbed the lead from Jerry Miles on lap four then lead the remaining eight laps for his third feature win of the season. Austin Heacock was second, Jerry Miles third,K.C.Ansel fourth, with Ethan Milder fifth. Dustin Wilwert took the lead away from early leader Derek Thompson on lap five and went on to post his second B- Modified feature win of the season.Jed Frweiburger was second,Ken Boyse third,Matt Gnsen fourth, with Derek Thompson fifth. In the Limited stock feature Jeremy Campbell for the fifth time beating Tim Schneider,Dalton Soppe, Troy Brauer,and Wes Hames to the checkers.
