FARLEY, IA (March 24, 2011) - The I-Wireless Lil’ Racer Car Clubs of Iowa, currently operating at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, Farley Speedway in Farley, Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, Columbus Junction Speedway in Columbus Junction, West Liberty Raceway in West Liberty, and 34 Raceway in Burlington Iowa, has been selected to participate in the Internship Program at the University of Iowa. Students can become better acquainted with the club and provide new and innovative solutions for the organization, by using the tools that they have learned through class time and course work. Internships can either be an unpaid position or paid a stipend by the University, based on a students’ financial need. The club is looking forward to hiring its first applicants for the summer semester to learn all facets of the clubs’ operations. The I-Wireless Lil’ Racer Car Club, a 501©3 non- profit public charity, provides educational, recreational, and entertainment programs to young race fans at area race tracks.
