JR Motorsports Hawkeye Dirt Tour at I-35 Speedway for
Memorial Day show
MASON CITY, IA (May 18, 2011) - IMCA Modifieds following the JR Motorsports
Hawkeye Dirt Tour get top billing on the Memorial Day program at I-35
Speedway.
Vern Jackson won the series opener at Vinton and leads his fellow open wheel
heavyweights to Mason City for the Monday, May 30 show. The 2011 Fast Shafts
All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event pays $1,000 to win.
Rounding out the card are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks
and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods.
Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at
6 p.m. with racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for
youngsters five and under. Pit passes are $25.
Modifieds chase IMCA national, ButlerBuilt North Central Region, Allstar
Performance State and special series points. All applicable IMCA points will
be awarded to the Stocks, Hobbies and Northern SportMods.

Richie Gustin recorded the first of his three 2010 Hawkeye Dirt Tour
victories when the series traveled to I-35 last May.
