COLUMBUS JUNCTION, IA (August 8, 2011) – CJ Speedway, along with Columbus Junction State Bank and Mincer Ford of Columbus Junction will present the IMCA Stock Car Summer Shootout on Friday, August 12. With the added $200 from Preferred Auto Sales $700 will go to the winner of the 25 lap feature . This is a draw-redraw race for the IMCA Stock Cars. Additional money will also go the following: •$50 Bonus to 2nd place finisher. (Glen Speers!) •$100 Bonus to anyone who finishes between 3rd-24th place to be determined by random drawing. (Glen Speers!) •$75 Hard Charger Award (Preferred Auto Sales) •$75 Hard Luck Award (CJ Speedway) •$75 Longest Tow Award (CJ Speedway) CJ Speedway will also reserve 2 provisional sports for the two highest in track points that do not qualify for the feature race. CJ Speedway allows 1 night without paying for track registration fees. IMCA license required, no exceptions. Also running will be the Modifieds, IMCA Sport Compacts, Mod Lites and Late Models.
