MAQUOKETA, IA (September 17, 2011) - Once again it was time for Cheater’s Night at Jackson County Speedway Saturday and once again Bob Dominacki won. This race has been ran for ten years and Dominacki has never lost it. Pole sitter, Tony VonDresky took the early lead and by lap three Dominacki had came from sixth to second. On lap four Dominacki brought out the caution and with it being Cheater’s Night got sent to the rear and not to his trailer. On the restart it was Matt Fulton taking over the point. At lap twelve the winged wizard flew by and into the lead. Dominacki went on to victory once more. Fulton was second with VonDresky third. Nick Dains was fourth with Biull Butteris taking fifth. Shawn Flagel led lap one of the Hobby Stock feature then pulled to the infield with mechanical problems turning the lead over to Matt Short. Short knew what to do with it as he led the rest of the way to the win. On a lapst lap charge Bruce Yoerger took second bringing Gene Ehlers with him for third. Nate Yoerger was fourth with Josh Neal fifth. On the drop of the green for the Street Stock feature it was Donnie Louck out front with Chip Kohl and Dwaine Hasson in a battle for second right behind him. Kohl eventually got up and put some pressure on Louck but nothing was stopping Louck on this night as he went on for the win. On the white flag lap Hasson moved in to take second over Kohl’s third. Josh Starr was fourth with Mike Conley fifth. 4-Stock action had Rob Harding Jr take the early lead of the feature and he was soon being challenged by Lukas Short. On lap six Short took over the point, But Harding wasn’t ready to give up as he stayed right there keeping the pressure on. In a last lap charge Harding took a close victory over Short’s second. Kile Vohringer was third with Andy Wagener fourth and Rob Harding Sr fifth. The Night of Destruction trailer race had twenty-three vehicles to start with the win going to Jim West of Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Bob and Julie Wagener would like to say “Thanks for the Memories” to all the racers, pit crews, and fans at Jackson County Speedway this year and the past nineteen years as they are retiring from the Speedway.
