Vendor sites available for Belleville 100

BELLEVILLE, Kan. (March 12) – Vendor sites and locations have been established on the historical grounds of the Belleville High Banks for the inaugural running of the Belleville 100, officials announced today.

“Since the announcement of the one-of-a-kind event slated for July 2-4, many companies and manufacturers have expressed an interest in showcasing their products and services at the event,” said Wayne Dake, promoter of the Belleville 100. “Costs have been determined and very reasonable fees have been factored into the vendor locations.”

A mapped area can be viewed on the Vendors page at www.belleville100.com.

Nine vendor sites are located in and near Mercantile Square. Mercantile Square vendor sites are only $50, which grants the purchaser a business home for all three days of the Belleville 100.

Another eight vendor sites are located in the southern portion of the grounds titled as B.K. Nap’s Department Stores at $45 per location.

Should vendors need electricity, an additional cost of $25 has been determined. The electrical fee covers all three days.

Streets and drives located on the grounds typically have no names. However, names befitting of “days gone by” have been applied to these roadways in observance of the historic race.

All vendor locations are within a very short distance of the grandstands and north pit area, and can be reserved by calling 402-440-3977 or by emailing wayne@belleville100.com.

The allocation of vendor sites are on a first-call, first-reserved basis. Eight of the vendor sites have already been reserved.

The Belleville High Banks is perhaps the most demanding dirt track in the country in terms of expecting the most of driver and equipment. Certainly it is the fastest half-mile dirt track in the country and most certainly can boast its #1 ranking in historical longevity.

While many aspects of the automobile and auto racing have changed since Belleville’s first auto race in 1910, two things haven’t changed: the test of the machine and the endurance of the driver.

In July 2010, machine and driver will be tested in a contest never before witnessed at “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile Dirt Track” or anywhere in the Great Plains. The celebration of 100 years of auto racing in Belleville and the advancement of the motor car will take place at the Belleville 100 featuring Modifieds on the High Banks, July 2-4, 2010.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 402-761-3676 or by checking out the "Downloads" section at www.belleville100.com on the World Wide Web. Entry forms, rules and additional information can also be found on the Official Website of the Belleville 100.
