HAYS, KS (September 24) - RPM Speedway in Hays, KS, will host their 4th Annual Fall Nationals on Thursday, Friday & Saturday, October 14-16. On Thursday night, a test & tune will be held for the modifieds, stock cars, northern sport mods and hobby stocks, plus a complete race program for the sport compacts, which will pay $400 to win and $50 to start with $25 to all non-qualifiers. Pit passes Thursday night will be $20 and race time will be 7:30 p.m. Friday night’s show will consist of qualifiers and pole dashes for the modifieds, stock cars, northern sport mods and hobby stocks, starting at 7:30 p.m. Pit passes will be $25. The same four divisions return on Saturday for last chance races and features. Race time Saturday is 3:00 p.m. Pit passes will be $25. The modified feature will pay $5,000 to win and $400 to start with $150 to non-qualifiers. The stock cars will compete for $3,000 to win and $250 to start with $100 to non-qualifiers. The northern sport mods will race for $1,500 to win and $150 to start with $75 to non-qualifiers. The hobby stock feature will pay $1,000 to win with $150 to start and $75 to non-qualifiers. IMCA rules will be enforced and IMCA licenses are required. The pit gate will open 3 hours prior to race time, with the grandstands opening up 2 hours before the races. Grandstand admission all 3 nights will be $10 for adults, $5 for ages 5 to 12, and 4 & under will be admitted free. Motels offering special rates are the Best Western Butterfield Inn at 785-621-4337 and America’s Best Value Inn at 785-625-2511. Camping and showers are available at the track.
