2nd Nationals Memorial Motorcycle Ride to take place August 11
in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 26, 2006) - The second annual Nationals Memorial
Motorcycle Ride will take place on Friday, August 11. The ride will pay tribute
to the late Kenny Weld, a four-time Nationals champion (1964, ’65, ’72, ’73).
The two-hour ride will start and end at Wacko's Place restaurant on Old Highway
92 east of Knoxville.
The ride will commence at 10 a.m. on Friday and will wind through Marion and
Warren counties in south central Iowa. The ride is free, with riders paying for
their own food and fuel. Honorary sponsor is P.B. Choppers of Moravia, Iowa. The
2005 Nationals Memorial Motorcycle Ride honored the late Jerry Richert, Sr., and
featured riders from six states including his children Amy and Jerry, Jr. Those
