INDUCTEES TO BE ANNOUNCED IN MID-JANUARY AT CHILI BOWL

KNOXVILLE, IA (Nov. 30, 2006) - The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Iowa, is pleased to announce the nominees for it’s induction ‘class of 2007’. Of the thirty-five (35) nominees listed on the final ballot, twelve individuals will be elected in late December, announced in mid-January, and officially inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame on Saturday afternoon, June 2, 2007, during the eighteenth annual ceremonies on the Marion County Fairgrounds. The nominees are:

Drivers: Bobbie Adamson, Johnny Anderson, Tony Bettenhausen (Sr.), “Tiger” Gene Brown, Bob Burman, Shane Carson, Jerry “Scratch” Daniels, Sam Hoffman, Jackie Holmes, Rajo Jack, Kenny Jacobs, Bayliss Levrett, Hal Minyard, Lee Osborne, Johnnie Parsons (Sr.), Frank Riddle, Joe Sostilio, Earl Wagner, Rip Williams.
