Final Appearance for Mopar-Kistler/Maxim Raffle Car at
Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show
KNOXVILLE, IA (Dec. 11, 2006) - The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum
will be taking the Mopar-Kistler/Maxim raffle car to it’s final appearance this
week at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Orlando. Museum
marketing director Craig Agan announced today that the Maxim Chassis/Paul
Kistler-Mopar Racing Engines car will be shown, December 14-16, in the Orange
County Convention Center. The drawing for the state-of-the-art winged
410-cubic-inch sprint car will take place back in Iowa on Wednesday, December
20.
The 19th annual show, professionally organized by Steve Lewis, is open only to
those within the motorsports industry, worldwide. However, over 42,000 racing
business people are expected to attend. The show will include exhibits from
1,400 companies, seminars, and a Grand Opening breakfast featuring 1995 United
States Auto Club (USAC) sprint car champion Tony Stewart as guest speaker.
The current museum raffle effort, named the “Get Your Racing Kicks with #6”, is
the sixth time racing parts manufacturers from around the country have joined
forces to build a brand new state-of-the-art outlaw sprint car to be raffled for
the benefit of the non-profit museum foundation.
