KALEY GHARST TAKES EARLY LEAD IN COX DESIGN
SOUTHERN IOWA SPRINTWEEK POINTS AFTER NIGHT ONE OF TEN
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (August 2, 2007) - With his win tonight in the first preliminary
show of the Knoxville 360 Nationals, presented by Vermeer, Kaley Gharst of
Decatur, Illinois has taken the lead in the Cox Design Southern Iowa SprintWeek
points after night one of ten consecutive nights of sprint car racing between
the half-mile dirt tracks in Knoxville and Oskaloosa. Night number two is Friday
with the second half of the winged 360-cubic-inch sprint car competitors in the
17th annual Knoxville 360 Nationals. Gharst will be representing the Sprint
Invaders Association (SIA) in the Sunday night Brodix 360 Tournament of
Champions.
