PRE-ENTRY DEADLINE ON WEDNESDAY

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (June 23) - The pre-entry deadline is Midnight on Wednesday, June 25, for the tenth annual Brodix Tournament of Champions to be held at the Knoxville Raceway on Sunday, August 3. The pre-entry fee is just $30 if payment and entry form are received in the offices of the Knoxville Raceway by Midnight Central time. The entry form is available at www.knoxvilleraceway.com/Files.aspx?filegroup=1.
The one-day international invitational for the ‘best of the best’ in 360 sprint car racing utilizes one common set of technical rules, including use of the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Brodix spec head.

Among those recently pre-entered are Washington’s Samantha Taylor of the ASCS Rebel Region, Arizona’s Ben Gregg of the ASCS Southwest Region, Louisiana’s Jason Johnson and Texas’ Eric Baldaccini of the American Sprint Cars on Tour (ASCoT), and Iowa’s Josh Higday and Brett Mather of the host Knoxville Raceway. According to Knoxville’s director of racing Ralph ‘Cappy’ Capitani, “The Tournament is really coming into its own after seven years here and one year each at Eldora Speedway and Limaland Motorsports Park. We are looking forward to seeing the top ‘360’ teams in the country battle for the $5,000 winner’s share during the Cox Design Iowa SpeedWeek of ten straight nights of sprint car racing between Knoxville and nearby Oskaloosa.
