KNOXVILLE, IOWA (March 27) - The National Sprint Car Museum is partnering
with attorney Larry Ball, Jr., to present “History of the Des Moines
Speedway, 1915-16” at the 2009 Iowa Studies Forum on Friday, April 3, at the

about. We are proud of the work done by sprint car historians around the
country and, indeed, around the world, and we look forward to continuing to
partner with them on presentations such as this one in the years to come.
And we sincerely thank Dr. Lisa Ossian at DMACC’s Iowa Studies Center for
her efforts with this forum.”
