RAINOUT AT KNOXVILLE? WATCH A MOVIE AT NATIONAL SPRINT CAR
MUSEUM
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (April 24) - With the completion of the new 42-seat theater
at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, courtesy of a gift from
the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company, an Altria Company, fans who suffer a
rainout at the adjacent Knoxville Raceway can now enjoy a racing movie
instead. On Saturdays during the racing season, racing movies will be shown
in the second floor theater at the standard museum admission cost of just
four dollars per person, with museum suite ticket-holders receiving free
admission. The theater will operate from 5 until 7 p.m. on nights when
Knoxville Raceway is officially "rained out". Over two hundred sprint car
racing videos and DVD's from tracks throughout the U.S.A. and Australia are
currently in the museum's inventory.
