HARRIS CLASH WEB CAST RESCHEDULED FOR JULY 28th ON RACECASTLIVE.com
By: Jeff Werderman

KNOXVILLE, IA (July 25) - The 2009 IMCA Harris Clash has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2009, and the RaceRPM.com crew will be there for a free radio web cast.  Rained forced the postponement of the annual event on July 7th and July 9th at the historic Knoxville Raceway.  Bucky Doren and Chris Marchese are hoping that “third time is a charm” as they will again host the free web cast thanks to RaceCastLive.com.

The web cast will begin at 7 PM (cdt), and it will feature flag-to-flag coverage of the IMCA Modifieds as they battle for the right to drive onto the famed victory lane in Knoxville.  Race fans who log onto RaceCastLive.com that night will also be treated to driver interviews and the ability to chat with other race fans throughout the night.

The 25-lap feature pays $2,000 to win and is a qualifying event for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.  IMCA National, regional, and Smiley’s Racing Products Iowa state points will be awarded.

For those wanting to attend the race, pit gates will open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7:15 p.m.  Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $3 for kids. Pit passes are $25 and no one under the age of 16 will be allowed in the pit area.

For those unable to attend the race, please log onto RaceCastLive.com for complete coverage.  A special thank you to Tri-County Heating of Wisconson, who support dirt track racing.  Tri-County invites to come to the Luxenburg (WI) Speedway, the Shawano (WI) Speedway, and they Seymour (WI) Speedway.  Also thanks to: RaceTechInfo.com, ZippsPhotos.com, Fast Shafts, DirtCast.com, and RaceRPM.com.
