THURSDAY OF KNOXVILLE NATIONALS FAN FAIR AT
SPRINT CAR MUSEUM SHAPING UP WELL WITH DRIVER APPEARANCES


KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 27, 2009) - The Thursday, August 13, portion of the four-day Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair at the National Sprint Car Museum is shaping up extremely well, with appearances already lined up by such racing insiders as Erin Crocker, Johnny Herrera, A.J. “Skip” Jackson, Stevie Kinser, Billy Alley, Matthew Reed, Jeannie Butler, Mark Dobmeier, David Mills, Mandy Pittman and many others. Said museum curator Tom Schmeh this week, “I really appreciate the efforts by Thursday moderators Stacy Ervin, Jon Evans and Bill Wright of confirming their special guests this early. We want to make sure all Knoxville Nationals visitors know in advance what is going on when at the non-profit museum.”

The schedule for the fourth annual Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair, to be held in the first floor, east wing, of the Donald Lamberti National Sprint Car Museum is as follows:

Wednesday, August 12:

11 a.m. – “Forty Years Ago: 1969 Knoxville Nationals” with hosts John Katich
& Bob Mays; with special guests Ray Lee Goodwin, Bob Trostle, and more

1 p.m. – “Tips from the Shooters” with host Scott Watson & photographers

3 p.m. – “World of Outlaws Sprint Car Racing” with host Johnny Gibson (WoO) & guests

Thursday, August 13:

11 a.m. – “International Sprint Car Racing” with host Jon Evans (Oval Express); with special guests David Mills (Premier Speedway), Matthew Reed (5-time Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria champion), and more

1 p.m. – “Knoxville Regulars: Defending the Home Turf” with host Bill Wright (Knoxville Raceway); with special guests Johnny Herrera, Mark Dobmeier, Billy Alley, Skip Jackson, Bronson Maeschen, Davey Heskin, and more
