KNOXVILLE, IOWA (October 15, 2009) - The National Sprint Car Museum in Knoxville will host its inaugural Christmas Craft Fair on Friday-Saturday-Sunday, November 27-28-29. The fair, which is free and open to the public, will be held on the second floor of the museum and will feature handmade craft items. The show will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and Noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
According to museum customer service representative and show coordinator David Herrmann, “With the museum being open on Thanksgiving weekend, as we are all year long, we thought the Christmas Craft Fair would be a nice addition to our annual schedule of special events. It will potentially attract visitors to the museum that wouldn’t normally come here, and it may open up a new revenue stream for the non-profit foundation. We look forward to hosting it and growing it for many years to come.”
Those wishing to rent a booth, which is just fifty dollars for all three days, are encouraged to call David Herrmann directly at 641-891-4680. Electricity will cost just fifteen dollars more per booth for the three days.
