KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 5) – Too much rain this weekend and forecasts for more

Modifieds at Knoxville Raceway from Tuesday July 6 until Thursday July 8.
The IMCA Sport Mods and Deery Brothers Late Models have been rescheduled for
July 28, 2010. The 19th annual event has been re-scheduled for Thursday July

open at 2 p.m. The draw concludes at 6:00 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 p.m.
and racing at approximately 7:15 p.m. All tickets and passes issued for
Tuesday race will be honored on Thursday.
The Wednesday July 7, 2010 show for the IMCA Sport Mods and Deery Brothers
Late Models has been rescheduled for Wednesday July 28, 2010. Pit gates will
open at 2 p.m. The draw concludes at 6:00 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 p.m.
and racing at approximately 7:15 p.m. All tickets and passes issued for
Tuesday race will be honored at that time.
Early morning showers across the Knoxville area were coupled by a soggy
forecast, prompting the quick decision to re-schedule. “The amount of rain
Knoxville has had as well as the forecast for this evening does not give the
drivers the best racing conditions. We hope by getting the notice out early
more of the drivers traveling from great distances will be able to
reschedule and attend on the new dates.”
