KNOXVILLE, IOWA (August 8) - Some of sprint-car racing's fastest women will be featured on the panel at the Women in Sprint Car Racing forum planned for Thursday, August 12, at 3 p.m. at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame's first-floor east wing. The forum is part of the museum's Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair. Numerous forums on varying topics related to racing will be held each day of Nationals week. The panel for the 2010 Women in Sprint Car Racing forum will be made up of all female drivers or former drivers. Panel members expected to be present include Melinda Dumesny, Lisa French Engler, Erin Crocker Evernham, Kaylene Verville, Trish Dover, Casie Shilling, Dakota Carroll, Haley Arnold, Kendall Higday, Miranda Arnold and Michaela Dumesny. Stacy Ervin, Knoxville Raceway track official, moderates this forum. There will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions of the participants.
