“SPRINT CAR 101: AN EVENING WITH LONNY PARSONS” TO BE STREAMED LIVE ON THE INTERNET

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (January 18, 2012) – Tomorrow night’s “Sprint Car 101 – Third Thursday Series” program at the National Sprint Car Museum, featuring Bob Baker interviewing veteran touring sprint car owner Lonny Parsons, will be streamed live at www.ustream.tv/channel/sprintcarhof.  The program, which is free and open to the public, will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Central. 

Museum special events coordinator David Herrmann said today, “We have had good success in the past streaming these programs live for those who have been unable to join us in Knoxville.  It should be a lot of fun tomorrow night hearing Lonny talk about his past drivers, including Tim Shaffer, Kraig Kinser, Danny Lasoski, Brian Brown, Danny Wood, Brooke Tatnell, Dean Jacobs, Johnny Herrera, Trevor Green, Mike Wagner, Paul McMahan and others.  It will also be entertaining and informative just listening to Lonny talk about his long-time work relationship with Casey’s General Stores.”
