The two dates will roll off 26-days apart, the first on Memorial Day Friday, and the second on Wednesday, June 18. Three-time and defending series champion Randy Martin will lead the eight-year old, Missouri-based touring series into Donnellson for the first leg of a Memorial Day triple-header for the series. The Friday, May 23, event will kick off at 7:30. Budweiser Night and their hospitality tent in the pit area is always an entertaining evening in Donnellson. This year, J. J. Yeley will display his driving skills against the Winged Outlaw Warriors on Wednesday, June 18. The mid-week event will highlight the final series appearance of 2008. The first Heat Race will push off at 7:30. Each event will pay $1,200 to win and $200 to start. All non-qualifiers are guaranteed $100 tow money. Martin, the series’ all-time win leader, has had prior success at Donnellson. The pilot of the Diamond Pet Foods / Maxim has also earned the series’ most victories in four of its eight seasons. However, Martin drove to his third consecutive title a year ago on consistency and zero race wins. All 360 Sprint Car competitors must obtain membership with the Winged Outlaw Warriors organization to compete. License fees are discounted to $100 prior to March 31, 2008. After the deadline, licenses are $125. Drivers also must pay $10 to draw a pill. All of the proceeds of this fee go toward the travelling fire and safety crew for the series.
