Access Energy Electric Cooperative Night at LCS on tap for July 25 By Jake Croxton DONNELLSON, IA (July 22, 2008) – The IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing program continues for the Miller Lite IMCA Modifieds, Budweiser IMCA Stock Cars, unsanctioned Donnellson Tire Hobby Stocks, Lawson Racing Engines & Parts Supply SportMods, and Shottenkirk Parts Express Wild Things with a special Draw/Redraw format on Friday, July 25. Several promotional items are on tap as the speedway celebrates Christmas in July for the third consecutive season. Santa Clause will be in attendance for all to see as he keeps record of the drivers on his naughty/nice list. Access Energy Electric Cooperative and Access Energy Propane customers will be treated to a night of racing. Also, West Liberty Foods employees will be in the house as the points battles draw to their climax. In two weeks, a $500 to win 25-lap Figure 8 race will take place on the front straightaway following the races. For rules on the August 1 event, check out www.leecountyspeedway.com. The racetrack will be dormant on August 8 before the three week stretch run to the title. Hot Laps are scheduled for 7pm for Christmas in July. Racing will follow at 7:30. General admission is $8 for Adults (18-59), $7 Seniors (60+), $5 for Students (11-17) and Free for Kids (10 and under). Pit passes are $20.
