Lawson Racing Posts All Iowa Points Bonus For The SportMods/Limited Modifieds at “Shiverfest”

DONNELLSON, IA (August 10) - As a racer himself for the past eighteen years Paul Lawson knows how important it is to take home some extra money at the end of the night and that is one reason why Lawson Racing will sponsor the All Iowa Points Bonus program for the SportMod/Limited Modified division at the 2009 “Shiverfest”. The tenth running of the annual family fun racing event will be held on Saturday October 24th at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa.

Lawson himself has turned a lot laps at the Lee County Speedway and other area tracks since he started racing back in 1992 and through those years he has learned quite a bit from trial and error on his own equipment. Now drivers can take advantage of that experience through the variety of products and services offered by Lawson Racing. Complete engine assembly as well as chassis fabrication and modification highlight the machine shop services, and Paul takes great pride on being able to develop a complete engine program to suit both the driving style and budget of each customer. Lawson Racing is also a proud dealer for Performance Bodies, JR Motorsports, All Star Performance and many more and the Lawson Racing parts bus can be found every race night at the Lee County Speedway.

Based upon the All Iowa Points standings through October 19th, drivers ranked in the top ten of their division will earn the top-level “Gold” bonus if they can win the “Shiverfest” feature in their division, drivers ranked 11th through 30th will earn the second-level “Silver” bonus if they win and drivers ranked 31st through 100th will take home the “Bronze” bonus with a feature victory. Each bonus is in addition to the winner’s purse already posted for the event.

At the 2009 “Shiverfest” the Sport Mod/Limited Modified feature will pay $250-to-win with a Lawson Racing Gold bonus of $300, a Silver bonus of $200 and a Bronze bonus of $100.

Lawson Racing is conveniently located on pit road at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson and they can be found on the web at www.lawsonracing.net . Customers can also reach them by phone at (319) 470-1055.

“Paul has been an official and a flagman in the past at the speedway, but I always think of him as a racer and a winner,” stated All Iowa Points compiler Jeff Broeg. “It is no surprise to see how much a driver improves his performance when they start working with him at Lawson Racing. I really appreciate that he has joined the All Iowa Points bonus program for 2009.”

Drivers and fans can check out the current All Iowa Points standings on the Points page at www.PositivelyRacing.com and for more information including the rules for each division at Shiverfest call the Lee County Speedway office at (319) 528-4301 or visit www.leecountyspeedway.com.
