LCS car show set for Hy-Vee, Keokuk
Date solidified for April 1, from 1 to 4 p.m. at new location

KEOKUK, Iowa (Mar. 21, 2012) For the first time the Lee County Speedway car show will be held at Hy-Vee, in Keokuk. Hy-Vee, a new sponsor for 2012 at LCS, has agreed to host the car show in their parking lot, Sunday, April 1.

“We are very excited about the location and the invitation we received from Hy-Vee,” LCS promoter Dewain Hulett said. “This allows us to get the cars in front of a lot of people who may not otherwise stop and look, or even notice a racecar car show.

“It is not only good for LCS and Hy-Vee, but I also believe it is great for the sponsors who will be on each and every car shown that day,” he added.

Management from both Hy-Vee and LCS will be on hand that day to help get cars in the proper locations, as car owners can start bringing their cars to the parking lot at noon. Also, we believe there will be enough room to park the trucks and trailers to the west of the store.

Again, show time is from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, April 1, at Hy-Vee, in Keokuk. We hope to see many of you there. Any car that is shown at the car show will receive a free pit pass for a regular point night at Lee County Speedway. There will also be drawings for free tickets for fans that stop to look at the cars, as well as a plaque for the best of show.
