BUCKNER, MO (April 20)-The O'Reilly MLRA Presented by Lucas Oil Products returns to action this Saturday night, April 25th for the Jack Vaughn Memorial at Glenn and Colleen Portzen's Adrian Speedway in Adrian, Missouri. Adrian is traditionally one of the raciest little race tracks on the tour and this Saturday night should be no exception.

The gates open this Saturday night at 5:00pm with Hot Laps set to get underway at 7:00 and racing scheduled to start at 7:30. Adult admission is $15, 6-12 is $5, and race fans under 6 are admitted free to the speedway. Pit passes are $30. For detailed information and directions to the Adrian Speedway, please visit www.adrianspdwy.com. Factory Stocks and Hobby Stocks will also be racing this Saturday night.

Springfield Missouri's Terry Phillips is the defending event champion and is expected to be in attendance this weekend, along with teammate Jeremy Payne. Payne comes into Adrian with the MLRA point lead after his dominating performance at Lucas Oil Speedway two weeks ago. Denny Woodworth and defending MLRA Champion John Anderson also had strong runs last year and are expected to be in attendance this Saturday night. Local favorite David Turner always runs well at Adrian and expects to contend for the win this Saturday. Alan Vaughn would like nothing better than to win the race in his late father's name and with his rejuvenated program in '09, he will be a contender for sure.

The Top 10 in the MLRA points after one race have Jeremy Payne on top with Jack Sullivan, Will Vaught, Eric Turner and Al Purkey rounding out the Top 5. The rest of the top 10 includes Alan Vaughn, Chad Simpson, Duke Whiseant, Chris Simpson, and Carter Lake, Iowa's Mike Collins. After having 51 cars two weeks ago at Lucas Oil Speedway and with both MARS and WDRL off this Saturday night, look for many of those tour regulars to drop in and go head to head with the MLRA again this Saturday night.

The O'Reilly MLRA (Midwest Latemodel Racing Association) presented by Lucas Oil sanctions regional Super Dirt Late Model touring series events in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.
