BUCKNER, MO (May 23) - Officials with The O'Reilly MLRA Presented by Lucas
Oil Products have announced the following schedule change for the
Independence Day Holiday Weekend. The O'Reilly MLRA Super Latemodels will be
in action at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska as originally scheduled
for a $3,000 to win show on Thursday night, July 2nd. The following night,
July 3rd, will now see the race teams move to Park Jefferson Speedway in
Park Jefferson, South Dakota for the Patrick M. Pinney Contractors Best of
the Midwest 40 lap $4,000 to win main event. If that isn't enough, we will
top off the weekend with another $3,000 to win race at Adams County Speedway
in Corning, Iowa on July 4th.
This will be the first visit ever to the Park Jefferson Speedway by The
O'Reilly MLRA. "This will save about 250 miles of driving for both drivers
and fans alike", stated MLRA Promoter Harriett Chancellor. "We just felt
like this was a win-win situation for all involved. This gives us a chance
to visit the beautiful Park Jefferson Speedway for the first time and gives
the 24 Raceway in Moberly a new date that works well for all of us."
The race originally scheduled for July 3rd at 24 Raceway in Moberly,
Missouri has been moved to July 11th, 2009. Another race at 24 Raceway has
also been scheduled for August 15th. Please continue to watch
