2011 MLRA Season Opener at Nebraska Raceway Park
BUCKNER, MO (March 20, 2011) - April 2nd will mark the first race of the
2011 season for the Lucas Oil MLRA. The Spring Meltdown at Nebraska
Raceway Park will be the start of a busy month for the series. The
series will visit NRP in Greenwood, Nebraska five times in 2011
including the Silver Dollar Nationals in July which will pay $25,000 to
win.
The Spring Meltdown will kick off on Friday April 1 with SLMR Late
Models, A-Modified qualifying and Pro/Am Stock cars. Gates will open at
4 pm on Friday with racing at 7 pm. Lucas Oil MLRA will practice on
Friday with qualifying heat races and feature events taking place on
Saturday. Gates open at 3 pm on Saturday with racing at 5:55 pm. Tickets
for Friday are just $10 for adults, Saturday admission is $20 for
adults. Kids age 6-15 get in for just $5 both nights!
Following the first race in Greenwood the MLRA will travel to Heartland
Park Topeka and Lucas Oil Speedway for back to back racing action on
April 8 and 9th. The final stop for the month of April will be in
Jetmore, Kansas at The Great American Dirt Track for the Sunflower State
Showdown, a $10,000 to win one night event on April 30th.
