Capital City Clash Begins This Thursday
MLRA (October 5, 2011) - The Capital City Clash is quickly
approaching! This two day event promises to be one of the best on the Lucas
Oil MLRA schedule this season. With open A Modifieds also on the card, it's
a can't miss two day show. The Lucas Oil MLRA competitors will be running
for $2,500 and $3,500 respectively, while the A Modifieds will run for
$1,000 to win and $150 to start each night.
Several of the region's top drivers are expected, as NASCAR weekend always
brings out a big field of cars and star power, both on and off the track.
Kenny Wallace has also confirmed his intentions to race his Federated Auto
Parts, Impressive Chassis this weekend, with the modifieds.
The pit gates open at 3 PM daily, with spectator gates opening at 5 PM. Hot
laps will be at 6:30 PM with racing at 7:30 PM. Adult tickets are $20 each
day. Kids 6-14 are $8 each day, with 5 and under free. Pit passes are $30
each day, or a two day pit pass can be purchased Thursday for $55. For more
