Scotland Co. Speedway Opens Saturday
Memphis, Mo. (March 27, 2006) - The Pepsi Scotland County Speedway will open with a spectacular, the O’Reilly
Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series this Saturday, April 1.
Along with the Modifieds the B-Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks will be competing.
The Series has had four races already averaging seventy modifieds at each race. Along with the local and area stars, Series hotshots Mark Noble, Kelly Shryrock, Tommy Myer, Al Hejna, Jason Hughes, to name a few, will be on hand to do battle.
The Series is off to an awesome start as there have been four different winners in the first four races. Mark Noble, Blooming Praire, Minnesota, is the current points leader. Gates open Saturday at 1:00 P.M., hot laps at 4:00 with racing to follow.
The Series will be at the Mt. Dew Bloomfield Speedway Friday night to kick off an exciting season at this excellent facility. Gates will open at 4:00 P.M. Friday night at Bloomfield, hot laps 6:00 with racing to follow.

Scotland County Speedway will be the sixth of 74 races on the 2006 schedule for
the O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series -- the second of
14 scheduled events comprising the Central Region slate and the first of 13 in
the Southern Region ... Saturday's main event winner will earn $2,000 ... USRA
Stock Cars ($300 to win), USRA B-Modifieds ($300 to win) and Outlaw Hobbies
($250) will also be on the card (no entry fee - pit pass only) racing for
national points in the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series.
