SPRING VALLEY, MN (May 2) - Karl Hewitt Jr. jumped out to the early lead during racing action on the 18th of April with Danny Hanson taking a right turn into the outside retaining wall destroying his car. On the restart Hewitt Jr., again jumped out into the lead with Tony Konold in second. With sixteen to go Cory Crapser moved into the third spot as another caution flew with fourteen to go. On the restart Crapser worked on Konold for the second spot with Hewitt Jr., pulled away slowly from the field. With ten to go Crapser took over second. Behind Crapser Shane Sabraski, Michael Jans and Konold were racing for third. This battle entertained the crowd until Sabraski took the spot with three to go, Jans moved into fourth. Two weeks later under clear blue skies and a cool breeze the drivers and fans returned to the speedway to take in a full night of racing action. A complete restart was needed to get the racing action underway Jared Boumeester took the early lead with Greg Pfeifer Jr., in second. With twelve to go Pfeifer slipped up in four allowing Davis into second as Boumeester was slowly pulling away from the field. Kyle Jumbeck now worked into the top five and was racing Albert Wytaske for the fourth spot. With eight to go Jumbeck moved into the third position as a caution flew. On the restart Davis moved low and drove underneath Boumeester for the lead and cruised home for the win. Boumeester hung on for second wtih Wtyaske, Jumbeck and Pfeifer JR., rounding out the top five.

Next up for makeup features was the US Army WISSOTA Super Stocks. After a couple restarts a single file field was required to get the racing action underway. Ryan Siegle jumped out to the early lead with Cole Queensland in second. Jeff Brauer worked into third. Queensland put pressure on Siegle early working to his inside until his mount slowed and pulled into the infield. Brauer and Siegle battled from lap ten to the finish with Brauer working hard to get around Siegle. Brauer looked high, low and changed lines midcorner, only able to pull alongside slightly but not abel to pull off the pass. Seigel hung on for the win with Brauer second, Bob Fort, Ed Sanders and Bobby Saterdalen rounded out the top five.

Steve Wetzstein jumped out front in the makeup EZ fabricating USRA Modified feature event with Brad Waits and Jay Ihrke charging up on the high side of the speedway to take second and third. On lap two Waits moved alongside of Wetzstein and dove hard into three and four. Waits exited the corner with a slight lead as Wetzstein tried hard to catch back up and pay back the slide job. Jay Ihrke and Mike Sorensen were racing for the third spot while Jason Cummins was behind them. With fifteen to go Cummins moved below Ihrke and Wetzstein to take over the third spot. The field stayed in formation over the last five laps to the checkers with Waits taking home the win, Wetzstein second and Cummins third.

Justin Sass sat in second with Nick Kramer in third early on. Keith Foss quickly moved up to fourth behind Kevin Kuehn as he worked under Kramer and Nick Herrick. With seventeen to go Hanson started to work on lapped traffic while Kuehn tried to hold off the hard charging Foss. Foss took third and started to gain on Sass in second. With nine to go Sass and Foss were side by side at the line. Foss took control of the spot two laps later but was unable to catch Hanson as he took home the win, Foss came home second with Sass, Herrick and Dennis Hillson rounding out the top five.

The Jim's Auto Care WISSOTA Street Stocks were the first class to run this weeks feature event with Karl Hewitt Jr., Taking the early lead. Troy Voth and Danny Hanson were racing for third behind Danny Ganz. A restart on lap two saw Hanson take second while Voth and Ganz were racing with Cory Crapser and AJ Zvorak for third in a great four car battle. With fourteen to go Voth took third as Hanson worked low on Hewitt Jr., up front. Hanson took the lead with eight laps left while Crapser moved into third behind Hewitt jr., On a restart with six to go Crapser blew around Hanson to take the lead. Hewitt Jr., moved into second as Voth worked him for position. Voth eventually took over second following Crapser to the finish line. Bryan Hernandez slowly worked past Wheeler for second two laps later to take home second place behind Davis. Davis has won all three main events at the speedway this season.

With twelve to go Shawn Huse, Brauer and Siegle were three wide at the line for the second spot. Huse took the second spot and set out after the leader on the next lap. With eight to go Huse showed himself at the bottom of the track with Queensland quickly moving down to take over the line. The two ran side by side on the bottom groove of the speedway for the next six laps until Huse tried the extreme high line and lost control of his mount. Queensland came home with the win, Brauer second and Kitner third. Siegle and Bob Fort rounded out the top five.

Bob Timm worked past Paulson for second as Tim Donlinger moved in third. With four completed Timm moved under Meyer for the lead. Donlinger quickly moved into second on the next lap and set his sights for the leader. With Timm runnning low on the speedway Donlinger moved his left front tire onto the edge of the grass/berm around the track and worked that to try and get around Timm. With fifteen to go Donlinger made the line work and took the lead. Further back through the field Jason Cummins and Brad Waits tried to move up the speedway and blow in a new line. Cummins had success and with ten to go found himself in fifth spot. Two laps later he moved past Paulson for fourth. With three to go Cummins moved past Meyer for third and coming to the white flag moved past Timm to take second. A few more laps and the race up front could have gotten heated but Donlinger had the line and took home the win over Cummins and Timm.
