Biggest night of non-winged racing for the great state of Missouri in 2006
ELDON, MO (June 06, 2006) - This Friday night promises to be the biggest
night of non-winged racing for the great state of Missouri in 2006. The United
States Auto Club (USAC) will be making their first ever visit to Lake Ozark
Speedway in Eldon, MO. Fans will get a double dose of non-winged action as the
USAC National Sprint Cars and Midgets take the 1/3 mile speedplant by storm.
It will surely be the most exciting side by side action that Missouri race fans
have seen in a long, long time.
With well over 40 pre-entries, fans can expect to see all of the stars of USAC,
including: Dave Darland, Josh Wise, Levi Jones, Bud Keading, Jay Drake, Matt
Neely, Brian Clauson and Jerry Coons Jr., just to name a few. There will also be
a large contingent of SMRS midget racers along with many of the local sprint car
drivers that will be taking off the wings to take a shot at the top drivers in
the country. Pits open at 4:00pm with the grandstands opening at 5:00pm. Racing
starts at 7:00pm. For more information, go to
