"Loot at the Lake"
by: Pat Grant

ELDON, MO. (Aug. 30, 2006) - After the announcement of the 1st annual “Loot at the Lake” a little over a week ago, the response has been tremendous. The “Loot at the Lake” was thought of by Eric Schrock of ES Investments, he wanted to “give back” to the sport that he has been involved with most of his life. The idea was to put up $1,000 of his own money to give to the top finishing teams, using the Winged Outlaw Warrior point system for the Labor Day weekend of racing in Central Missouri. Little did he know that there would be a massive interest from fellow racers, fans and companies who all rushed in to help out. The $1,000 that he donated has now swelled to over $5,000 in cash and contingency prizes.

To win the cash, a driver has to compete in all three nights of racing over the Labor Day Weekend. Friday Sept. 1st at Double X Speedway in California, MO and Saturday, Sept. 2nd & Sunday Sept. 3rd at the Lake Ozark Speedway 360 Nationals in Eldon MO. Using the Winged Outlaw Warrior points system, the top 10 in points will share in the cash. 1st - $700, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $400, 4th - $200, 5th - $200 and 6th thru 10th - $65. Any money coming in between now and race day will be divided evenly between 6th and 10th place.

The contingency prizes will be given away by drawing Sunday at the drivers meeting. To be eligible, a driver must have competed in all three nights of racing.

A driver does not have to be a member of either sanction to be eligible for the cash and prizes.

ES Investments would like to thank Maxim Chassis, VRP Shocks, Ostrich Racing Engines, Rod End Supply, Bill Built Wings, R&R Race Products, Pro Powder Coating, Team Besecker, Roy Woods, Bill Glasgow, John Farmer, Extreme Motors, Town & Country Motors, Paint-Ko, Sedalia Starter and Double X Speedway for their contributions.
